What is a Doctor of Chiropractic?

Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) - often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians - practice a hands-on, drug-free approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.

What is Vertebral Subluxation?


Your nervous system is made of brain and spinal cord that are well protected by skull and spine. Also, your nervous system continuously monitors and coordinates every single function of your body. It allows your body to bend, flex, twist and move freely without compromising the nerve. If the bones of the spine are misaligned and affecting nerve communications between your brain and your body, it's known as the vertebrae subluxation complex.
